The slightly modified named canoe has had it’s first run out now, only a quick paddle round the QE2 at Ashington but still worth it. Took Oliver up with me to give him a chance to use his new little paddle as well. And he loves coming out in the canoe.
Had a little paddle around then realised we’d forgotten to pickup the coolbag picnic we’d packed, can’t be forgetting that! Headed back to the car, only 10mins or so, grabbed the food and headed back to find somewhere to sit. Found a good little spot with a seat and easy enough to get out.
Finished our picnic and headed back towards the car, finishing off the last couple of biscuits before the swans got too close!
Canoe and us out the lake, packed up, canoe loaded and back down home. The Pack, or Jack, paddles lovely. Bit more tippy than the 158 but that could have been Oliver moving around too! Tracks nicely and could see going for a few nights with it quite easily.
